Mark Hermogeno: Principal Designer & Owner:

Mark's background in design comes from a passion of material cultures, an eye for visual
creativity and a flare for bringing the two together. Growing up in the middle of the
California Arts and Crafts capital of South Pasadena, Mark's interest in architectural
design and furniture was influenced by Green & Green designs and the California
Bungalow that has been so popular since the early 20th century. His diverse background,
which includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cultural Anthropology in Material Cultures
and his 10 plus years in retail visual merchandising with companies such as the GAP Inc,
The Disney Store Inc, Restoration Hardware and Smith & Hawken, constantly raised his
creativity and ability to visually present interiors as ideal places to work, shop and live. He
has 2 years of Interior Design certification program studies at the University of California
Berkeley Extension under his belt. In 2005 opened his own successful design firm in San
Francisco, California which specializes in residential, retail and commercial Interior
Design services. Mark considers his design style as laid back California contemporary
with a splash of elegance. He uses deep warm colors and fabrics whether designing
traditional or modern spaces.
Jessica Anson: Design Assistant-Drawings & Renderings

With a background in retail furniture sales and contract home painting, Jessica joined the
design team in the Summer of 2006. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior
Design from San Francisco State University, Jessica brings fresh technical skills as well
as excellent client service to Hermogeno Designs.
Steven Ellenwood: Design Intern

A recent transplant from the mid-west, Steven joined the team in December of 2007. A full
time care-giver, he has always been interested in interior design. He approached
Hermogeno Designs sharing his interest to learn more about the industry.
